Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Continue to the cedar forest of Azrou to see Barbary apes.
After lunch in Midelt, descend through the lush Ziz Valley, home to Morocco’s largest palm groves.
Arrive at the edge of the dunes in Merzouga for dinner and your first overnight stay.
Day 2: Merzouga – Khamlia Village – Nomad Families – Desert Camp
Dedicate this day to the Sahara. Visit Khamlia village to hear soulful Gnawa music performed by descendants of slaves from Sudan.
Meet Nomad families to learn about their traditional way of life.
In the afternoon, mount your camel for a 90-minute trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a magical sunset.
