Day 1: Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel or the airport in Ouarzazate. The first stop is the Skoura Oasis, where you can wander through massive palm groves and visit the Kasbah Amridil, a beautifully preserved 17th-century fortress. Continue through the Valley of the Roses, stopping at local cooperatives to see how organic cosmetic products are made. After lunch overlooking the valley, you will reach the Todra Gorges to walk along the riverbank and admire the massive limestone canyons before settling into a traditional guest house for the night.

Day 2: Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert & Camel Trek

After breakfast, explore the gorges further or enjoy a short hike. The route then heads east toward Erfoud, the “fossil city,” where you can visit workshops to see ancient artifacts. In the afternoon, you arrive at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Here, you will switch to camels for a trek into the heart of the dunes to watch a spectacular sunset. Your evening includes a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music, and an overnight stay in a private nomad tent at a desert camp.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the Sahara. Following breakfast, you may take a second camel ride or explore the dunes on foot. The return journey passes through Rissani, where you can investigate the traditional weekly market (souk). The drive continues through the scenic Draa Valley, famous for its lush palm groves and the historic Kasbah Tamnougalt.
