2 Days / 1 Night
This 2 days Ouarzazate tour to Zagora is an immersive short escape designed to showcase the beauty and culture of the Moroccan Sahara. Starting from the historic town of Ouarzazate—the “Hollywood of Morocco”—you will journey through the stunning Draa Valley, famous for its sprawling palm groves and ancient fortified villages. Whether you are looking for a peaceful night under the stars or a cultural deep-dive into Berber life, this private tour offers the perfect blend of adventure and authentic hospitality.
Your 2 days Ouarzazate tour to Zagora begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or riad in Ouarzazate. We travel through the picturesque Tizi-n-Tinfifte pass (1,700m) and the oasis of Agdez before entering the Draa Valley. Along the way, we stop to visit historic Kasbahs and admire the palm-fringed landscapes. Upon arriving in Zagora, you will start your camel trekking excursion, riding across the golden dunes as the sun begins to set. The day ends at a traditional desert camp where you will enjoy a Moroccan dinner and a musical evening around the fire before sleeping in a nomad-style tent.
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunrise from the top of the dunes before enjoying breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, embark on a morning camel ride back to join your vehicle. The return journey to Ouarzazate takes you back through the Draa Valley, offering further opportunities to capture photos of the changing desert landscape and fortified villages. You will arrive back in Ouarzazate by late afternoon, bringing your desert adventure to a close.
