We ascend the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for panoramic views of traditional Berber villages. After crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass, we visit the historic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site. After lunch, the journey continues to Ouarzazate and through the Skoura palm groves to the Rose Valley. We conclude the day in Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay in a beautiful Riad or hotel.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes – Camel Trek & Night in Desert Camp

After breakfast, we travel through the Dades Valley to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where the river has carved a 300-meter-deep canyon into the mountains. You will have free time to walk through the canyon and enjoy the landscape. In the afternoon, we reach the edge of the Sahara in Merzouga. Here, you will switch to camels for a 1.5-hour trek into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to witness a magical sunset. The night is spent at a luxury desert camp, featuring Berber drum music around a campfire and a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars.

Wake up early to contemplate the sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast at the camp, you return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4.
