Starting in Casablanca and concluding in the “Red City” of Marrakech, this tour covers four Imperial Cities and the famous blue-washed town of Chefchaouen, ensuring you see the absolute best of Morocco in just one week.
Day 1: Casablanca ⇢ Rabat Your 7-Day Tour from Casablanca begins with a pickup at the airport or your hotel. Visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque before driving to Rabat, the political capital. Explore the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the beautiful blue-and-white Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the ocean.
Day 2: Rabat ⇢ Chefchaouen Travel through the green fields of the Rif Mountains to reach the “Blue Pearl,” Chefchaouen. Spend the afternoon getting lost in its tranquil, azure-washed alleyways and relaxing in the Uta el Hammam square.
Day 3: Chefchaouen ⇢ Volubilis ⇢ Meknes ⇢ Fes Head south to the Roman ruins of Volubilis to see remarkably preserved mosaics. Continue to the Imperial City of Meknes to admire the grand Bab Mansour gate before arriving in Fes for the evening.
Day 4: Full Guided Day Trip in Fes Discover the spiritual heart of Morocco with a local expert. Visit the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and the famous Chouara Tannery. Immerse yourself in the crafts and history of the medieval Medina.
Day 5: Fes ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Cedar Forest ⇢ Merzouga Desert Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in “Moroccan Switzerland” (Ifrane) and the cedar forest to see Barbary macaques. Follow the Ziz Valley to Merzouga, where you will ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes for a magical night in a desert camp.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert ⇢ Todra Gorge ⇢ Dades Gorge Watch the sunrise over the dunes before heading to Rissani to explore its traditional market. Marvel at the 300-meter-high cliffs of Todra Gorge and the “monkey fingers” rock formations in Dades Valley.
Day 7: Dades Gorge ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Marrakech Visit the Ouarzazate film studios and the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, arriving in Marrakech by evening where your journey concludes.

Depart Fes for the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” and the Azrou Cedar Forest to see wild Barbary Macaques. Travel through the scenic Ziz Valley to reach the Merzouga dunes. End the day with a camel trek into the desert for a night at a luxury camp.
Wake up early for a spectacular desert sunrise before heading to Rissani to explore its traditional market. Walk through the towering red cliffs of the Todra Gorges—a favorite for climbers—before settling into the lush Dades Valley for the night.
